The Costs

The licence fee for a CleanMyBed franchise is £15,000 £7, 850 (plus VAT)*. A saving of just under 50%!
* You will still get all the value that came with the fee of £15,000 as CleanMyBed, and all their suppliers / stakeholders, have decided to bear some of your investment themselves, so people like you can get started for less in your local area.

This is a considerable reduction and push to develop the brand in the UK and makes CleanMyBed an even more attractive proposition for you to open a business in your local area. Any questions or to receive our revised financial forecast please Schedule a call to find out more…

This includes:

Permission to trade under our established brand

Full training in how to deliver the service

Access to our specialised equipment

Kick-starter launch programme and ongoing online marketing

In-house admin software and outsourcing for your accounts

Your own assigned territory with options to expand

As your new business can be run without a purchasing or leasing a vehicle – though you will certainly want to do so as you expand – further costs are very low. You will need to consider having some working capital available to meet any costs while you are still taking on your first customers. It is hard to put an exact figure on this, but we are happy to give you some pointers, and recommend you also seek out your own independent financial advice.

If you decide to expand to include multiple operators, or even additional territories, there will be some extra costs associated with that, but these will be decided based on your own individual circumstances and plans. You will not need to make any decision or commitment on this until you are ready to put your plans into action.

The initial franchise agreement lasts for five years, which is renewable subject to certain criteria being met by the franchisees and in agreement with the franchisor.

Help raising funds

While CleanMyBed does not provide financing directly, there are a number of attractive options to help you with your investment.

For example, it may be possible to obtain funding from most major high street banks for some of the amount. Franchising is one of the safest and most secure ways of starting your own business, so many lenders rightfully see it as a much lower risk than a completely new start-up, and may be much more inclined to lend you money against your investment.

There are also some government funded loans which could be available, and we would be happy to point you in the right direction for more information.

Ongoing costs

Joining a franchise is all about being in business for yourself so, of course, you can expect the vast majority of the money you make to stay with you. However, there are some small, ongoing costs associated with being part of a franchise.

CleanMyBed charges an ongoing franchise fee of 10%* of your monthly sales.

* Subject to revenue targets being met
